Led User Experience strategy, concepts and information architecture for the launch of two medication websites for a major pharmaceutical company.

Conceptualized and documented UX design for a branded and unbranded website for a major new pharmaceutical vaccine product. Analyzed user profiles, developed use-case scenarios, extensive competitive research and produced high-level site architecture based on strategic models.

• Role Led Competitive Analysis, Strategy, IA & User Experience.
• Launched in 2010 for the medication site.
• Launch pending in 2010 the condition-based site

• Product Highlights: Crafted business case for creating an immersive, audience-based experience. Expanded target audience range to encompass many new user groups. Proposed “sticky” and “viral” tools to expand consumer awareness of the condition and medication.

Senior Exhibit Designer at Ralph Appelbaum Associates

A major new expansion upholds the institution’s role as a leader in space education with the addition of the new 160-seat, state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium and a 13,000-square-foot exhibit hall, the Sky and Space Wing. The the latter features the Solar System Survey, where visitors may follow the Planet Walk by tracing orbits embedded in the floor; exerience size relationships among planets; and interact with Worlds of Wonder, a sphere displaying 360-degree color images of the Sun, planets, and the major moons of our solar system. The new wing also features Testbed, where visitors may experiment with space exploration tools in a spectacular two-story-high astronaut training and technology center. While discovering what Newton’s laws mean in space, visitors experience reduced gravity, as if on the Moon, learn what it takes to launch a rocket, and find out what happens to different substances during “free fall.”

<img data-attachment-id='117' data-orig-size='540,360' data-liked='0'width="150" height="100" src="http://tangiblespaces.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/tb-a_2721-2.jpg?w=150&h=100" class="attachment-thumbnail" alt="Test Bed Exhibit Hall" title="Test Bed" />
<img data-attachment-id='118' data-orig-size='360,540' data-liked='0'width="100" height="150" src="http://tangiblespaces.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/sss-orb_2565.jpg?w=100&h=150" class="attachment-thumbnail" alt="Solar System Survey exhibit hall" title="Solar System Survey" />

“In this 15,000 square foot addition to Adventure Science Center, you can discover the wonders of the universe through a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibits.

On the first floor of the Space Chase exhibit hall, visitors can experiment with space exploration tools in this spectacular two-story high astronaut training and technology center. Through hands-on, interactive exhibits, you learn what it takes for a rocket to launch, what happens during “free fall,” and how Newton’s Laws mean a lot in space.

Take a walk through our solar system and discover the relationships between the planets and their moons, how much you weigh on Jupiter or Saturn, and why we have seasons. Visitors will have the solar system at their fingertips through interactive stations. “

The RAA concept for this new national museum makes it the first to identify the Great War as the defining, transformative event of the twentieth century, presaging World War II, the Cold War, Vietnam, and reverberating today in the Middle East. The museum’s massive artifact collection, second only to that of Britain’s Imperial War Museum, is used to illustrate an in-depth analysis of WWI’s continuing impact. Exhibit features in the 30,000-square-foot space include a re-created field of 9,000 poppies, a recreated trench environment, and a panoramic media/diorama event exploring America’s entry into the war. Also installed are a replica of a bomb crater, multiplayer interactive tables, and oversized graphics in the style of the period. Whenever possible, the story is told through eyewitness accounts of those who were caught up in the conflict.
